He was predeceased by: his parents, John Groft and Edith Groft (Fitzgerald); and his siblings, John C. Groft of Lancaster, PA, Betty Dumas of Beaumont and Lori Vatter of Leola, PA..
He is survived by: his sons, Randy L. Groft (Jan Groft) of Lititz, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey L. Groft (Kit Chan Groft) of Euless, Texas; his grandchildren, Katherine Groft, Darcy Grisin, Peace Groft, Aaron Groft and Lily Groft; and his sister Geraldine Kaska. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
