He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Bass; his parents, Lavada Buckner and Elvin Buckner; and his sister Sherri Cardona. He is survived by: his son John Bass (Meredith); his granddaughters, Jocelyn and Jacalyn Bass; his great grandchild Alani Alfaro; his sister Carol Brumbalow; his stepdaughter Brenda Passarelli (Tom); and his stepgrandsons, Steven, Ellis (Tonya) and Aaron Howard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; extended family; and many loving friends.
