He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred; his parents, Vera and Cliff, Sr.; and his aunts, Ethel and Bya.

He is survived by: his pet Paco; his children, Joan Robinson (Gayle, Jr.), Susan Hogan (Rodney), Richard Gray (Celeste), Carl Gray (Debby) and James Gray; and his brother Robert (Nancy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
