She is survived by: her husband Don; her mother Mary Elizabeth Hill; her siblings, Marilyn Hill, Sharon Hill Thurmond (Carter) and Richard Hill (Rae); her parents-in-law, Bob, Jeri Johnston and Suzanne Johnston; her children, Thomas (Anna Johnston), Stephen (Melissa Johnston), Suzanne Johnston, Megan (Daniel Arnold) and Preston Johnston; and her grandchildren, Addey, Lynden, Dub, Boone, Tristan, Cooper, Lively, Mary Claire and Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Carolyn's name to the Children's Ministry of White's Chapel United Methodist Church and/or GRACE Grapevine.
