He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Phinney and Jean Barras. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Phinney; his children, Jason Phinney (Heather) of Colleyville and Jill Smith (Steven) of Southlake; his grandsons, Austin Phinney (Ever) of Ft. Worth, Will Phinney of Colleyville, Blake Smith and Blaine Smith of Southlake; and his sister Barbara Day (Warren) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
