He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clint, Fay Penn of Littlefield, Doris and Paul Johnson of Plainview, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Claire McPherson Johnson; his daughters, Jenna Fay Johnson and Lea Jean Johnson of Southlake, Texas; his parents, Richard Johnson and Judy Johnson of Southlake; and his brother Thomas Richard Johnson (Joanna Wong) of Monterey. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
