He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perry Whitson and Carolyn Whitson (Rasmussen); his girlfriend Theresa; his children, Jason, James and Savannah; his grandchildren, Zeyta, Vann, Lilith and Gunnar; his sisters, Pam and Beth; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Scott, Carrie, Austin, Lauren, Aleia, Raine and Alana. He was also cherished by nine grandnieces and grandnephews, and by one great-grandnephew.
