He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Blancas and Candelaria Cruz; and his brothers, Robert Blancas and Miguel Blancas. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fassold Blancas; his children, Ruben Alejandro Blancas and Sandra Blancas; his stepsons, Raymond Brandriff (Stacey) and Christopher Brandriff; and his sisters, Rosie Blancas, Dina Blancas and Tania Blancas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
