He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosario Agirre and Guadalupe Arredondo; the mother of his children Maria Cruz Padilla; and his children, Rogelio Rodriguez (Teresa), Joe Agirre Jr., Benny Galvan (Dinah), Jennifer Agirre and Patricia Rivera. He was also cherished by 27 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
