She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jr. Lymas-McGaffie and Susie Anner Lymas-McGaffie; and her brother Charles McGaffie. She is survived by: her husband Roynold Louis Mitchell; her children, Phoebe Durell Graves (Stephen), Rhonn Laighton Mitchell, Rochelle Jeannine Fitzgerald (Gary) and Riana Jurrae Dixon (Michael); her grandchildren, Andrea Patrice Graves, Roman Laighton Mitchell, Philip Anthony Graves, Mikayla Britney Fitzgerald-Johnson (Jaisen), Carson Merrill Mitchell, Chloe Ava Dixon and Claire Elise Dixon; her great grandchild Roman Elijah Mitchell; her siblings, Lawrence McGaffie (Tina), Loretta Henry, Carl McGaffie (Betty) and Larry McGaffie; and her friends, Barbara, Eloise, Ethel, Isabel, Joyce and Sandra.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (404 Austin Ave, Pasadena, TX 77502).
