He is survived by: his son Gilbert Gomez, Jr. (Melissa); his siblings, Johnny Joe Gomez, Joe Frank Castro (Sylvia) and Mary Gomez; his stepdaughter Tammy Ramirez; his grandchildren, Arianna Gutierrez, Lyric A. Gomez and Gilbert Sid Gomez III; his aunt Rebecca Oropeza; and his uncle Juanito Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
