He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Chavez and Jesusa Chavez; and his grandmother Maria Chavez. He is survived by: his aunts, Ernestine Salazar, Gloria Medrano, Rachel Gutierrez and Beatrice Chavez; and his uncle Joe Chavez.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Carnes Funeral Home (1102 Indiana St, South Houston, TX 77587). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Historic Hollywood Cemetery (3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009).
