She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Burdette and Francis Burdette; her former husband Cecil C. Burkhalter; her husband William Arthur Stephens; and her siblings, Reddy, Cleveland, Buel, Duel, Flora Harris, Mary Jones and Virginia Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Cecil Wayne Burkhalter (Joy) and George Leslie Burkhalter (Cynthia); and her grandchildren, Joseph Burkhalter (Susan), Cristi Gerecke (Michael), Andrea D. Holmes (David) and Jake D. Burkhalter. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
