He was predeceased by: his parents, Ventura Herrera and Tomasa Herrera; and his sister Maribel Herrera. He is survived by: his wife Martha Maribel Herrera of South Houston, TX; his sons, Luis Herrera, David Herrera, Raul Herrera and Ruben Herrera; and his siblings, Raul, Ramiro, Rodolfo, Josefina and Roberto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
