He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Louise Cary Schwab and Carl M. Schwab; and his son Ian Thomas Schwab. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Schwab of Sour Lake; his daughter Lauren Landry (Doug) of Cleveland, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Brian Mullins of Vidor and Sarah Simmons (Corey) of Lumberton; his brothers, Carl Schwab (Dorothy) of Carrollton and Bill Schwab (Ellen) of Rowlett; his nieces and nephews, Kate, Ashleigh (Clay), Morgan, Ben (Genevieve) and Zach (Ashley); his grandchildren, Isabella, Juliet, Ian, Lily, Kyler, Wyatt, Gavin and Nolan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew, Joanna, Jeremy, Peter, Atlas and Leona.
