It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Tipton (Sour Lake, Texas), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley Ann had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley Ann may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Griffin and Bertie Spillars Griffin; her former husband George Rollins King; and her husband Earl Melton Tipton. She is survived by: her daughters, Bird Mangels of Fredericksburg and Debbie Neslage (Bill) of Fredericksburg. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rosedale Cemetery (505 Old Beaumont Rd, Sour Lake, TX 77659).
