She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Lyons Franchebois and Vorris Franchebois; her former husband David Roy Richard, Sr.; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Chachere and Floyd W. McCormick.
She is survived by: her son David Richard, Jr. (Jean Marie) of Sour Lake; her grandsons, David R. "Trey" Richard III (Julie) of Groves and Kevin Jaycob Richard; her great grandchild Piper Lynn Richard; her sisters, Rita McCormick, Carol Chachere and Vickie DeMarcy (Patrick); and her close friend Herb Courville. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (5075 Bigner Rd, Beaumont, TX 77708). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (1605 N Major Dr, Beaumont, TX 77713).
