John F. Carpenter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John F. Carpenter of Sour Lake, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John F. Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carpenter and Louise Carpenter; and his brother-in-law James "Jamie" Winkel. He is survived by: his wife Ann Carpenter; his children, Amber Louise Carpenter Tortorice (Jake III) of Sour Lake, John Hunter Carpenter (Stormi) of Sour Lake and Travis James Carpenter of Sour Lake; his grandchildren, Gianna Tortorice of Sour Lake, Jake Tortorice IV of Sour Lake, Caroline Carpenter of Sour Lake and Colt Carpenter of Sour Lake; his son Cooper Carpenter of Destin, Florida; and his sisters, Carol Carpenter Winkel of Austin and Barbara Carpenter Gibson (Carles) of Midland.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the First Baptist Church-Sour Lake (765 6th St, Sour Lake, TX 77659). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (765 6th St, Sour Lake, TX 77659).
