He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Theodore Gray and Beatrice Davis Gray; his former wives, Elise Lavern Pinion Gray and Evelyn Maddox Gray; his daughters, Janet Adams and Vicky Getzsal; and his siblings, Henry, Julius, Kelly, Rodney, Myrtie, Etta, Florence, Alma and Dian.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Lee Gray; his children, Judy Byrd, Keith Gray, Michael Gray, Glenn Gray, Colleen Robinson, Timothy Gray, Jack Gray, Jr. and Dena Tullier; and his sister Malva. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
