She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Fay Ferguson and Donald Ferguson. She is survived by: her husband Ben Barefield of Sour Lake; her children, Charles Wesley Barefield of Beaumont, Gregory Allen Barefield (Nadine) of Fairfield, Arkansas, Patricia "Patty" Fay Walker (Chuck) of Sour Lake and Cheryl Kay Boutte (Paul, Jr.) of Vidor; her siblings, Mike Ferguson (Judy) of Beaumont, Donna Moffitt (Sam) of Beaumont and Deborah Ferguson of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Nathan Boutte (Erica) of Vidor, Charles Walker III (Crystal) of Beaumont, Jordan Walker of Houston, Benjamin Walker of Beaumont and Levi Walker of Beaumont; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Walker and Jackson Walker. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
