He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Marie Green Harper and Henry Harper; and his siblings, Naomi Sue Harper, Evelyn Reese and Harry Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Harper; his children, David Lee Harper (Ashley) of Kountze and Cassie Ranee Harper (Terry Tanton) of Silsbee; his grandchildren, Samantha Harper, David Lee Harper, Jr., Colton Wade Harper and Kamryn Kay Harper; and his siblings, Bob Harper of San Antonio, Howard Harper of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Norissa Caraway of Spurger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
