He is survived by: his brother Construction; his wife Irma Mata; his children, Sonia Reyes, Edward Mata (Emily, Adrian Mata) and Sam A Mata, Jr. (Amy) of San Angelo; his grandchildren, Bryan (Daniella, Anissa, Michael), Anthony (Linda, Damian, Darrek), Daniel, Samuel Andrew, Hayley, Zachary, Ariana, America, Alex, Efrain, Gabriel, Adrialys and Aaliyah; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Jose, Barrett Thomas (BT), Makaio and Isla. He is also survived by his brother, his sons, and daughter along with occasional help from his grandsons.
