She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Santiago Mejia; her grandparents, Maria Sanchez and Salome Perez, Sr.; her cousin Lee; her children, Jimmy Galindo (Gracie Vazquez), Mary Sue Galindo (Manuel Juarez) and Nora Lee Galindo; her grandchildren, George Reyes, Jr., Juanita Andrea Juarez, Marcella Inez Juarez and Manuel Enrique Juarez, Jr.; her husband Pedro Galindo, Jr.; her daughter Delma Letticia Galindo; her mother Juanita Perez Mejia; and her friends, Juanita Galaviz, Lidia White, Patricia, Susie Toups, Erma Pincince, Idolina Chavez, Kathy Hardgrave, Ana Samaniego and Amanda Garza.
Lydia had a giving heart and was always doing good deeds for others, collecting money donations for friends and family in need, sending plates of food to friends and neighbors who found themselves sick or alone on holidays, remembered birthdays and wrote beautiful cards, and called friends daily to check on them.
