He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid Arthur "Poosty" and Christine Montgomery Jones; and his grandparents, Theo, Lillie Montgomery, Gus and Lil Jones.
He is survived by: his former spouse Eira Virginia Inabinet; his wife Virginia Jones; his children, John Robinson Jones of Eugene, Oregon and Julie Christine Jones of San Angelo; and his brothers, John Augustus "Gus" Jones of Kingsland and Mark Henry "Hank" Nasworthy (Nola) of Mansfield.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (404 E Poplar St, Sonora, TX 76950).
