He is survived by: his brother John Paul Friess of Sonora; his children, Paula Ann Friess of Dublin and Clay Friess (Joetta) of Sonora; his grandchildren, Owen Luke Friess and Molly Joe Friess of Sonora; and his cousins, Elizabeth Schenkel of Sonora and Paul Emery Turney of Hillsboro, Texas..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home (409 SE 2nd St, Sonora, TX 76950). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sonora Cemetery (516 N Service Rd, Sonora, TX 76950).
