He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Gandar and Oralia Morin Gandar; his son Robert Gandar; his granddaughter Florencia Gandar; and his siblings, Delia G. Duran, Ramiro Gandar and Arturo Gandar.
He is survived by: his children, Franchesca Gandar and Veronica Gandar Lizama (Edgar Lizama); and his siblings, Estella Gandar, Beatrice Ramirez of Fort Worth, Texas and Enrique Gandar of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
