It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Lou Mayer (Sonora, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on June 1, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, F. H. "Tuff" and Winnie Lou Whitehead; his husband Ralph; his children, Robert Sol and Bonnie Lou (Curry Campbell) of Sonora; his grandchildren, Chelsey Lou (True Burson) of Guthrie, TX and Chance Campbell of Sweetwater, TX; his brother F. H. "Tuffy" Whitehead of Del Rio; and also, Ralph, Teal and Tap Burson. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
