It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myron Lee Brown in Somerville, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Myron Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Brown; his children, Samantha Brown Keller (Lloyd), Heather Brown and Myron Brown Jr.; his siblings, Larry Young (Connie) and Karen Brown Hale; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hillius. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (530 TX-36, Caldwell, TX 77836). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery (1411 W 12th St, Caldwell, TX 77836).
