He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Mae Reed (Belcher) and Burl Reed; and his brother-in-law Daniel Griffin. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Michelle and Lauren Renee; his wife Liz Reed of Somerville; his sons-in-law, Jeff Hajek of Brenham and Terence Vierling of New York; his granddaughters, Brittney Hajek and Emma Vierling; his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Carolyn Reed of Holliday; his brother Timothy; his sister-in-law Bonnie Reed of Ingram; his sister Jo; his brother-in-law Sandy Blakley of Izoro; and his sisters, Sherri Reed of Rockdale and Nancy Griffin of Lampasas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Industry Methodist Church.
