He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Shryock; his children, Deerik Shryock (Gwen), Jason Shryock (Kristi) and Jessica Evetts (Jason); his grandchildren, Brett, Marisa, Richard and Eastyn; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Oakley and Raelynn; his daughter Darla Schulz; and his grandson Jett Shryock.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home (545 8th St, Somerville, TX 77879). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
