He is survived by: his wife Gloria N. Mendez; his children, Michael A. Mendez (Tamara), Martin T. Mendez (Monica), George Mark Mendez (Rosalva), Daniel Emiliano Mendez, Natalie Mendez and Marina Daniell Mendez; and his siblings, Emilio L. Mendez, Olivia Garcia, Leandra Escareno and Beatrice Roberts. He is also survived by 6 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 1 great-granddaughter, and 1 great-grandson; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
