Roy Williams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Williams of Snyder, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Williams (Hyde) and Cecil A. Williams; his sisters, Fay Reynolds (Bob) and Maetta Davis (William "Dub"); his siblings-in-law, Thurman Atchley, Marvin Reed, Jackie Tankersley (Vennie), Fayette Tankersley and Vicki Tankersley; and his nieces and nephews, Janet Davis McLennan, Rayburn Davis, Robert Reynolds and Angeline Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Annette Tankersley; his children, Roderick Dale Williams (Peggy) and Ellen Claire Williams; his sisters, Janell Atchley and Ruth Reed; his siblings-in-law, Loye Tankersley (Lynn) and Marie Tankersley; and his nieces and nephews, Joan Reynolds, Charles Atchley, Karen Sanchez, Cynthia Matlock, Mike Atchley, Jennifer Marbach, Becky Lange, Scott Tankersley, Lynn Bruder, James Tankersley and Bill Tankersley.
