He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Jacqueline Drake, Charlotte Sykes, Wallace Carnes and Harold Carnes (Buddy); his wife Patricia; his children, Mike (Suzi Carnes) of The Woodlands, Mark (Martha Carnes) of Houston and Kellie (Danny Cosby) of Durham, NC; his granddaughters, Natalie Carnes (Matthew Whelan), Rosalind Carnes, Hannah Carnes, Molly Cosby and Katie Cosby; and his great grandchildren, Chora Whelan-Carnes, Edith Whelan-Carnes, Mona Whelan-Carnes, Asher Titus, Levia Titus and Gracie Titus.
