It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Townsend of Snyder, Texas, born in Rochester, Texas, who passed away, on November 25, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Gauntt (Carothers) and Floyd Gauntt. She is survived by: her children, Kenny (Joyce) of San Antonio, Cathy Black (Bobby) of Abilene and Tommy (Lana) of Lubbock; her sisters, Alice Smith of Sherman and Lucy Williams of Lubbock; and her friend Sally Carthel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Because of Covid precautions, we ask that masks be worn at all times.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to First Central Presbyterian Church, 400 Orange St., Abilene, TX., 79601, or to the donor's favorite charity.
