It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Wayne Pinkerton (Snyder, Texas), who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pinkerton and Mae Huddleston Pinkerton; his wife Dovie Marchbanks; his son Loyd Pinkerton; his grandson Douglas Wayne Pinkerton; his great grandchild Randy Hopper; and his siblings, Cleo Sawyer, Lois Bowden, Vada Holamon, Jean Brown, Lorance Wilburn, Troy Pinkerton, James Pinkerton, Curtis Pinkerton and Harvey Pinkerton.
He is survived by: his son Harvey Pinkerton (Suzan) of Snyder; his grandchildren, Amy Fava (Roy) of Christoval, Jocarol Chambless (Eric) of Abilene, Shelley Johnson (Lee) of San Antonio, Jocelyn Amato (Moose) and Heath Pinkerton (Whitney); and his sister-in-law E. E. Pinkerton of Snyder. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
