He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Tat and Martha Irene Dodson (Warren); his wife Linda Dodson (Brammer); his brother Billy Dodson; and his siblings-in-law, J. C. Goolsby, Raymond Wright, Steve Botts and Marie Dodson.
He is survived by: his son Lewis Tat Dodson, Jr. (Trisha) of Ira, TX; his siblings, Alvin Dodson (Ann) of Snyder, TX, Jimmy Dodson (Janet) of Snyder, TX, Martha Goolsby of Snyder, TX and Mary Wright of Snyder, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler Frazier (Shelby) of Cypress, TX, Tanner Dodson of Ira, TX, Whitney Dodson of Snyder, TX and Shaylee Dodson of Ira, TX; and his great grandchild Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
