He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Whitney and Fleeta Cloud; and his cousin Jimmy Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Marci Griffin-Whitney of Snyder; his children, Elizabeth Griffin of Colorado City, Destiny (Glen Odom) of Abilene, Blake Whitney of Snyder and Timothy Whitney of Snyder; his parents-in-law, Tim and Donna Griffin of Dallas, TX.; his grandchildren, Asher Rhodes and Wyatt Odom; and also, James (David Whitney), Fran Sadler (Jerry), Monty (Chris Whitney), Kym Whitney (Donnie), Amy (Jeremy Watkins) and Taya (Jeremy Brown). He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces/Nephews, and cousins.
