He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hinshaw and Helma Hinshaw (Shubert); his wife Pat Hinshaw; his siblings, Ruby Hinshaw Guess, Morris Hinshaw and Robert Hinshaw; and his granddaughter Kelsi Messick.
He is survived by: his former wife Patsy Allen; his children, Tommy Johnson of Snyder, Brent Hinshaw of Denton and Traci Hinshaw of Arlington; his grandchildren, Bradi, Cody Williams, Tate Hinshaw, Tanner Hinshaw, Eric Johnson, Bethany Johnson, Misty Johnson, Beckett, Avery Williams, Kooper Messick and Caden Hinshaw; his niece Pam Phiffer of Midland; and his great-niece Shay Minor of Abilene.
