He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Stephens and Ollie Stephens (Mosco); his brothers, Wilburn M. Stephens, Jr. and Sam Stephens; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Fulks, Anna Stephens and Kathy Stephens; his mother-in-law Opal Brown; his sister-in-law Judy Ashley; and his nephew Wesley Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stephens of Snyder, Texas; his children, Billy Stephens, Jr. (Kendra) of Lubbock, TX and Laura Davis (Wayne) of Snyder, TX; his grandchildren, Alayna Vise (Kelby) of Big Spring, TX, Ryanna Orona (Anthony) of Snyder, TX, Will Stephens (Madi) of Lubbock, TX and Luke Stephens of Lubbock, TX; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Vise, Jack, Phillip Orona, Sutton Stephens, Emmeline, Ava Vise and Macy Orona; and his siblings-in-law, David Richardson (Betty), Patty Ross (Jay) and Betty Reed.
