She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Cowan Jr. and Florence Cowan (Inman); her sons, Scott Walton and Bryan Walton; and her siblings, Wendal Cowan, Don Cowan, Carl Cowan, Daniel Cowan, Billie Jo Freeman, Sue Booth, T. Ann Jackson and Dee Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Wayland Walton; her daughters, Wayla Pistone of San Diego, CA and Marta Hanks (Richard) of Abilene, TX; her daughter-in-law Barbara Walton of Lubbock, TX; her siblings, Bob Cowan, Rosa Peterson, Jessie Springer, Linnie Binyon, Barbara Harris and Marjorie Harrold; and her grandchildren, Alex (Zulema Pistone), Michelle (Joe Bagnasco), Kathy (Marco Girón), Richard (Thais Hanks), DeAnn Pierce, Sherry Sandoval, Charlotte (Lee Kirby) and Becky (Nestor Torres). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren 14 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
