With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Thomas Junek of Snook, Texas, born in Somerville, Texas, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elo Junek; her sisters, Bonnie and Katheryn; and her son Elo Junek, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Terry, Beverly and Linda; and her grandchildren, Christian Edwards (Jimmy), Jennifer Lammons (Michael), Tony Derkowski, Justin Derkowski, Stephanie Derkowski, Amanda Novosad (Brad), Victoria Ford (Brodrick), Jack Baumann Jr. (Leann), Melanie Junek (Brandon), Katharian Junek, Miranda Rubach (Robert), Lew Derkowski, Elo Junek III (Trey), Shannon Junek and Kody Junek. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (545 8th St, Somerville, TX 77879). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Bible Church (5376 Raymond Stotzer Pkwy, College Station, TX 77845).
