Louis Daniel Rao Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2024, at the age of 91, Louis Daniel Rao Sr. of Snook, Texas, born in New Iberia, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Louis and Bernice Rao; his wife Gloria Barras Rao; his son Louis Daniel Rao, Jr.; his parents, Ned Paul Rao and Eunice Morvant Domingue; his in-laws, John and Laura Silhavy; his son-in-law Leslie "Zak" Yezak; his grandson Jake Sandlin; his grandson-in-law Gary Pendleton; his great grandchildren, Michael Franks, Zak Michael Webb and Jace Andrew Yezak; and also Lilly Mae Rao.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Rao Thompson (Frank), Dale Rao (Jeanelle), Roxanne Rao Franks and Dana Rao Yezak; and his sister Pam Little (Frank). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six grandchildren-in-law; fourteen great-grandchildren.
