We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rebecca J. Cooper of Smithville, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Russell Frederick Cooper; her parents, Joe Copeland and Jean Copeland; and her brothers, Michael and Bobby Copeland.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Cooper; her daughters, Bethany Collins (James) and Katie Cooper; her sister Jackie Lee (Larry); and her grandchildren, Ashton Walker, Monica Walker and Melanie Collins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marrs-Jones Funeral Home (110 American Legion Rd, Smithville, TX 78957). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Paul Catholic Church (204 Mills St, Smithville, TX 78957). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (473 State Hwy 95, Smithville, TX 78957).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Becky's honor to the SPCA or animal shelter of your choice.
