She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Weaver and Josie Weaver (Kelly); her husband Leroy Dyer; her son Bryan Strong; her granddaughter LeAnne Gladwell; her siblings, Betty Dees, Dorothy Nichols and Dan Tucker; her brothers-in-law, Lee Dees and Sonny Nichols; and her nephew Danny Nichols.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Gladwell; her granddaughters, Kristy Strong and Brittney Strong; and her great grandchildren, Nilah Graham, Leksy McCracken, Shelby Willett and Gage Graham.
