With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Bunte (Smithville, Texas), born in Port Lavaca, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Bratcher; her brother Michael Bratcher; and her mother-in-law Thelma Bunte. She is survived by: her mother Lillian Bratcher; her former husband Lester Rector; her child Laurie (Erik McCowan); her husband Galen; her children, Andi (Tommy Oates) and Jeremy Rector; her grandchildren, Jake Oates, Cody Spencer, Logan Rector, Colton Hancock, Luke Oates, Caston Rector and Addison Oates; her brother Steven (Denise Bratcher); and also Andi. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Grace Lutheran Church of Smithville.
