She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Truitt and Susie Mayfield Truitt; her husband Kenneth Joe Helton; her daughter Rebecca Jackson; and her siblings, Chris Parrish, Burman Truitt, George Truitt Jr., Dixie Kimbro, Thomas Truitt, Barbara Martin and Cole Truitt.
