She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Hoskins and Topsy Claiborne Hoskins; her husband David T. Varner of Olney; and her sisters, Laverne Ray and Rachel Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Varner Traband (Robert W. Traband, Jr.) of Houston and Jennifer Laake Barrett of Richwood; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Kynlie, Bodie and Dawson; her siblings, Gene Hoskins (Carmen Hoskins) of Smithville and James Hoskins (Cindy Hoskins) of Lexington, Texas; and her brother-in-law Doug Smith of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Houston SPCA.
