He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Smiley" and Faris; his stepmother Alta; his brother Jack; and his niece Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, James, Cathy, Ken, Leanna and Marvin; his brothers, Walter (Emily) and Boyd (Jeannie); and his sister-in-law Pam. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
