It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Rodriguez of Smiley, Texas, born in Rio Grande City, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Emilio Rodriguez and Celestina Rodriguez (Chavez); her husband Inocencio Rodriguez; her children, Ricky Rodriguez (Danna), Micheal Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez; her grandchildren, R. J. Rodriguez, Makaela Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez and Syriana Pantoja; and her siblings, Emilio Rodriguez, Jr. (Elizabeth), Joel Rodriguez (Tina), Mary Williams (Verle), Cristela Trigo (Mario), Flor Reina (Manuel), Starr Flores (Julio), Irma Lewicki (Ronald), Joe Rodriguez, Olga Montoya (Jason) and Jennifer Hartman (Amy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
