It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamar Lessor Jr. of Smiley, Texas, born in Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. L. Lessor, Sr. and Mary Etta Lessor (Billings); his wife Avis Lessor; his children, Mary Carolyn Lessor and John Lamar Lessor III; and his granddaughter Lauren E. Lessor.
